This elegant Bokhara silk rug (125 x 225 cm) is a refined expression of traditional Tekke tribal artistry from Turkmenistan. Handknotted over 458 hours by two expert weavers in the Lebap province, it features a soft beige tone and intricate all-over Bokhara motif, brought to life through fine silk pile and a cotton foundation.
With a knot density of approx. 192 KPSI, this silk rug displays remarkable detailing and a lustrous finish that subtly shifts depending on the viewing angle — a natural visual effect of genuine silk.
