Description
Experience the heritage of Central Asia with this authentic Turkmen handknotted Yomut Kepse rug, sized 84 x 125 cm (3' x 4' ft). Handwoven from 100% natural wool, this lightweight 3 kg piece features traditional Kepse gul motifs, which are symbolic to the Yomut tribe of Turkmenistan.
The intense red base is enriched with intricate geometric borders and symbolic elements—each knot a reflection of nomadic history and artistry. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for small living rooms, entryways, reading corners, or layered rug styling.
Each piece is crafted by skilled artisans and is completely unique, preserving a centuries-old weaving tradition.
Please ignore any creases on the rug, as these are due to it being tightly packed during transit. The creases will naturally disappear within about a week once the rug is laid flat and walked upon. Additionally, please note that colors may slightly differ from the images shown due to lighting conditions and screen settings.
