Bokhara handknotted silk rug (118 x 200 cm) is a luxurious representation of traditional Tekke motifs from Turkmenistan. Meticulously crafted by two expert weavers over 400 hours in the Lebap province, it features a shimmering beige color and a rich all-over design that changes appearance depending on the angle of light — a signature quality of fine silk rugs.
Made with a cotton foundation and 100% silk pile, this rug boasts a knot density of approx. 195 KPSI. Its smooth texture, intricate pattern, and visual depth make it not only a showpiece but also a durable investment — perfect for elegant living spaces, bedrooms, or galleries. Fire-resistant, eco-friendly, and elegant, this Turkmen rug is a functional piece of art meant to be cherished for generations.
Please ignore any creases on the rug, as these are due to it being tightly packed during transit. The creases will naturally disappear within about a week once the rug is laid flat and walked upon.
