As you walk on them and care for them properly, the fibers become softer, the colors deepen, and the rug develops even more character. If you're storing your wool rug for an extended period, it’s important to let it breathe. Every 3–4 months, take the rug out, lay it in the sun for a few hours, and allow it to air out. This helps prevent moisture buildup, discourages moths, and keeps the wool fibers fresh and healthy. Proper storage and occasional sunlight can significantly extend the life of your rug.
