Handknotted oriental wool rug (143 x 235 cm) is a stunning representation of the Tekke tribe's weaving tradition from Turkmenistan. Handcrafted over 470 hours by four master weavers in the Ahal province, this rug features a bold central medallion design and rich red color — making it a timeless focal point for any space.

Woven from 100% premium Saryja sheep’s wool with a strong wool foundation, it offers a knot density of approx. 220 KPSI. This red wool rug is fire-resistant, eco-friendly, and wear-resistant — perfect for daily use in living rooms, dining areas, or offices. The medium pile offers a balance of softness and support underfoot.

A true Turkmen rug that blends tribal heritage, artisan skill, and everyday functionality in one unforgettable piece.

Please ignore any creases on the rug, as these are due to it being tightly packed during transit. The creases will naturally disappear within about a week once the rug is laid flat and walked upon.
